The conference aim is to support the expanding role of NDE/NDT methods in manufacturing, transport, aircraft industry, energetics, mechanical and material engineering, electrotechnics and microelectronics, eventualy also other safety branches – war agains terrorism etc., as well as in research and development. Recent situation in the area of education, certification, accreditation and standardization will be also discussed. Specialists in all NDE/NDT topical areas are welcome to showcase their applications and findings. Attendees from different industrial and research branches are invited to exchange information, experience, and knowledge, explore new ideas and benefit from expertise of other practitioners, engineers, scientists, and students.
Official Language
The official language of the conference will be English.
Conference NDE for Safety Time Schedule:
- Deadline for abstracts submission: September 15, 2009
- Limite date for payment of reduced fees: September 15, 2009
- Deadline for papers delivery: September 30, 2009
- Conference opening: November 04, 2009 at 10 a.m.
Call for papers and exposures
All authors are invited to contribute papers on the areas of conference topics (in both oral and poster sessions). Contributors are requested to submit their paper title with short abstract (app.200 words) and contacts till the July 31, 2009.
Potencial exhibitors are kindly asked to specify their products and services along with layout demands.
NDT/NDE related companies are invited to participate at an important part of the NDE for Safety / Defektoskopie 2009 conference - the NDT instruments and services exhibition.
Venue
Prague is a city with more than 1000 years of history The town is one of the most important historical cities of Europe. The past centuries have left their mark here primarily in art and architecture. Through the course of time Prague has gained a reputation as a major European center of culture, education and humanism. An area of more than 8 sq. km registered in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage Register.
The accommodation of participants will be assured in the four star hotel Aquapalace (app.15 km from Prague city centre). Hotel with Congress Center is a part of the Central Europe´s largest waterpark, AQUAPALACE PRAHA. It is recommended to stay a few days before or after the conference in Prague. A special sight-seeing programs for interested participants and accompanying persons will be organized in Prague.
