Information change of management DGZfP Ausbildung und Training GmbH

Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to inform you that we have successfully completed a generational change in the management of DGZfP Ausbildung und Training GmbH:

As of January 1, 2025, Dr. Sascha Feistkorn has succeeded Dr. Ralf Holstein, who will be retiring at the end of March 2025 after more than 30 years with DGZfP.

During his time as Managing Director, Dr. Holstein has significantly shaped the company, guiding it through numerous challenges and growth phases. Under his leadership, DGZfP Ausbildung und Training GmbH has established itself as a leading provider in the field of personnel qualification for non-destructive testing (NDT). We sincerely thank Dr. Holstein for his outstanding commitment and excellent work over the past years and wish him a fulfilling retirement.

Dr. Sascha Feistkorn has extensive experience in NDT of metallic and mineral components, as well as in the training of inspection personnel in both industry and academia. He has been actively involved in DGZfP committees for many years. In 2012, he received his doctorate in the field of non-destructive testing in construction and has worked at institutions such as the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM), Fraunhofer IZFP, the Swiss Association for Technical Inspections (SVTI), and the Federal Office for the Safety of Nuclear Waste Management (BASE).

Dr. Feistkorn has been part of the DGZfP team since April 2022, most recently leading the "Organization and Development" department.

"I am very much looking forward to my new role and to shaping the future of DGZfP Ausbildung und Training GmbH together with the team. My goal is to continue our established path, preserve our values, and at the same time explore new ideas for even better collaboration and innovative approaches," explains Dr. Feistkorn.
