Professional Group 08 - Transport

The group is active throughout the network of the Czech Republic and holds a membership meeting once a year in Prague. The base consists of 45 members, 5 of whom are retired but still active in the area of the group's focus. The Specialist Group is called "Transport", and all members are connected with transport, put, "line-dependent" transport, which is passenger and freight rail and public transport such as tram, trolleybus and metro. The group's focus also includes the related infrastructure: the rolling stock and overhead lines.

Most of the group's members are active, qualified, and certified defectoscopy personnel in UT, MT, PT and VT methods used in maintaining, repairing and upgrading vehicles and railway lines, including urban lines. Other members are active in certifying defectoscopy personnel or companies involved in manufacturing instrumentation and accessories for the UT and MT methods.
